i liked the story i think there was a ton of detail sometimes when maybe there shouldve have been as much and shouldve been more some other times, but over all it was a good short story.

Most vivid part of the story was when they went to buy the whiskey. It had good detail that actually contributed to the story instead of being just random details.

I enjoyed this short story, because it was compelling and friendly. I saw alot of comparisons and similes, and it made the story very interesting and humorous. I had a good time reading it! No complaints.

The most vivid part of the story to me was them flying kites together, like in the pic above the questions. I felt like that was one of the most meaningful parts of the story to the main characters as one of the last fun things they got to do together before he left.

I think the most vivid part of the story is when they get their Christmas tree. Especially when he described the way the tree smelled. It made me feel like I was part of the story.
