Hello All! I hope you are having a great week so far. Please read this poem. As with all poetry, it sometimes takes 2 and 3 readings of the poem to feel like you have a grasp on it. Then answer these questions on paper, to be turned in on Monday.

1. Vocabulary: Look up a definition for these words...

2. Who is the speaker? Are there any other people in the poem?

3.  Summarize each stanza of the poem. Try to put it in your own words.

4. What do you make of the last lines of the poem?

5. What is God's role in this poem?

6. What do you think the title helps us to understand about the poem?

7. What are the parallels between this poem and THE CHOSEN? (There are quite a few!)
